Today On the Hook!
I have FINALLY started the work on a cowl to match the Granny's Headband (pic below). I've gone up a couple of hook sizes to make it super flowy and soft. The headband has a pink heart on it....and I'm still unsure if I will add pink to this somehow or just leave it just one color. And I'm thinking on an edging.....I am usually pretty plain jane and just make my edgings solid and sturdy. But I'm thinking on this one maybe a dainty picot. What do you think???
Be Blessed!

i love this! those headbands are adorable. I love the idea of incorporating the pink into the scarf.
ReplyDeleteI'm still trying to decide WHERE I would add the pink. LOL Thanks for your compliments :D
DeleteLove the sparkle yarn!
ReplyDeleteThanks Sara! It's really beginning to grow on me :D With the larger hook for this cowl it is even SOFTER than before when I made the headband.
DeleteI like where you are going with this pattern. It is good to build on the one and show its versatility by making headbands, cowls etc. Next you need a scarf so they can have a complete winter set.
ReplyDeleteGood Idea Nadine!!
DeleteBeautiful!
ReplyDeleteThank you Moma :D
DeleteGreat work, love that yarn too.
ReplyDeleteThank you Karen!
DeleteStill have your headband on my bucketlist for this year. A picot might work but a simple blanket stitch in pink or even lavender might look good too.
ReplyDeleteThanks Sara....I'm still working on finding the perfect edging. I'd love to see a pic of the headband when you get it whipped it!!
